MCM 26/09/2016

A beautiful monday it is, yeah?
Meet my MCM for today. Enjoy his interesting story!

At the age of 16, he lost his father and eventually lost hope for a better life. Back then, he made few mistakes but then decided to redirect his life and add value to his community. He sponsored himself through school working with local artisans on construction sites and doing various kinds of menial jobs. He had many concerns in his life like bringing food on the table. He always had time for community service. He decided that he will help many young African adults to become self-aware and start taking responsibility for local problems in their community. He is the founder of Young Protégé Leadership Foundation, an organization aimed at raising trans-generational leaders to bring about socio-economic development and growth in Africa using education and mentorship.

He is a young entrepreneur with a passion for raising exceptional trans-generational leaders that will turn Africa around for better. He has been trained and equipped nationally and internationally by the Bureau of International Program, the U.S. Department of State, Daystar Leadership Academy, TECHCAMP West-Africa amongst others. He believes that achieving a sustainable world will require more than just writing of policy papers, but will also require equipping all the privileged and the disadvantaged to become responsible for global challenges in their community. In his words, "Our challenges should not break us but make us; they make our victory more interesting." The world is growing and becoming one, individual actions have global effect; therefore, it is essential to teach children values, morals, culture, love, justice, equity and integrity, otherwise, the effect will be enormous and the whole world endangered.

launching and presentation of his Protege Lead Game to the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo

He has designed and managed the implementation of social development projects targeted at motivating, educating and inspiring young leaders in Nigeria; especially in marginalized communities such as slums and hard-to-reach communities in Nigeria. This year, he developed the first African leadership paper board game called Protégé LEAD game. More than 2,500 copies have been sold in about 5 states in Nigeria. The game can be played by 4 players at a time. This has given a multiplier effect of nothing less than 10,000 lives which the game has impacted. He also created the Protégé mobile app 1.0 which is on Google Play Store to endow young adults with civic and leadership education.
that is a picture of his game. I've played it and trust me, it is interesting and educative.

He is passionate about Nigeria and bringing the Nigerian project to pass. His dream Nigeria is a home of peace, excellence and grandeur to all and for all Africans' pride.  His name is Akinnike Michael Oluwatobiloba.
